If you are suffering from anxiety or depression, struggling with issues related to chemical dependency, hoping to heal from the trauma of past abuse, interested in creating healthier relationships, or simply wanting to work on your own personal growth, I am here to help.
In my general psychotherapy practice, I have extensive experience helping adults, couples, and teens grapple with the many complexities of these very difficult issues.
My focus during adult individual therapy is to help clients resolve their presenting problems, connect more deeply with their processes, and better achieve their life goals.
In couple's therapy, my approach is to work toward a mutual understanding between partners interested in developing a more richly satisfying intimate relationship.
For teens and young adults, I am able to provide a safe place outside of the family to discuss the numerous real world problems facing young people today.
When in my role as a certified hypnotherapist, I gently guide clients into the realm of the subconscious in order to facilitate quicker, deeper, and often more lasting changes.
I am also a skilled intervention specialist who helps concerned family members and friends form a group to confront an alcoholic or addict in hopes that he or she will agree to get treatment.
In addition, I offer substance abuse treatment consultation for other mental health professionals.
